Events
A series of international symposia, focusing on the program's three main research fields, in the proposed project will be held annually. Many internationally renowned professors and researchers in these fields will be invited to present lectures and share their prospective vision with us. These symposia will also offer opportunities for Ph.D. students to actively discuss their work with invited professors through poster sessions.
Domestic symposia concerning the program's three main research fields will be held. The purpose of the domestic symposia is to share and discuss research achievements with invited Japanese professors and researchers.
The main purposes of the workshops will be to discuss strategies of research in the three main research fields and to further the education of Ph.D. students by their active involvement with a small number of experts in their field.
Internationally renowned professors and researchers in the target fields will be invited to present lectures.
Local seminars on the research areas of the program and human resource development will be held to activate internal discussion and to stimulate Ph.D. students.
A series of open lectures will be given by invited professors and researchers conducting cutting-edge research on the three main research fields.
Evening seminars will be presented by leading Ph.D.-level engineers now working actively in industry to assist the career paths of Ph.D. students.
Meetings by industry executives, steering members, and research assistants in the program will be periodically held to discuss education and carrier advice for undergraduates.
Researchers and industry experts with a broad vision will be invited to present lectures on various topics in mechanical engineering.
